OSI is an independent, physician-owned practice that has cared for the orthopedic needs of patients across New Braunfels and South Central Texas since 2006. Our three board-certified orthopedic surgeons, with fellowship and/or subspecialty training in sports medicine and joint replacement surgery, provide care for the full range of orthopedic conditions, both non-operative and surgical. This care is available at six clinics across the region, so specialty treatment stays close to home.
Same-week and even same-day appointments are frequent, and we accept most insurance plans, including Medicare and TRICARE.
General orthopedics, joint replacement, and sports medicine, covering the hip, knee, shoulder, elbow, hand & wrist, spine, foot & ankle, and acute fracture care.
Every page opens with how we make the diagnosis, the non-operative care we try first, and the point at which surgery becomes the right call.

Physician AssistantDr. Vrana and OSI were simply outstanding with regard to my total knee replacement. Very pleased with the results and glad that I had the surgery.
Always a great experience. Dr. Templin did my father's hip replacement. Staff was kind and knowledgeable. Would recommend.
Excellent staff, and Dr. Twitero is amazing. Caring, explains injury options, and lets you be part of the healing and treatment process.
