Ben Swanner, PA-C

Ben Swanner is a physician assistant who works with Dr. Vrana across clinic, surgery, and recovery. He evaluates new and established patients, performs musculoskeletal exams, orders and interprets imaging, and develops treatment plans with Dr. Vrana. He performs joint and soft-tissue injections, manages fracture care, and applies casts and splints.

In the operating room, Ben first assists Dr. Vrana. He assists in post-operative recovery, leading most follow-up visits, monitoring healing, managing pain and activity progression, and coordinating physical therapy.

Ben earned his Bachelor's in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University in 2022 and his Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from South University's Austin campus in 2025. He is board certified by the NCCPA and licensed by the Texas Medical Board.

Originally from Dallas, Ben lives in the area with his wife Elaina and their dog Maverick. Outside the clinic, he is usually hiking, traveling, on the basketball court, or on the golf course.
